This is the two year period beginning with the date the policy goes in force during which a company can review the underwriting and pull additional records to make sure their underwriting decision was correct when you purchased the policy.

This two (in some states one) year period has spun off more than a few urban legends. Probably the most common of those is that there simply isnt any insurance in force for the first two years. There are policies like that called graded benefit policies.

Individuals who are looking for energy efficient cars may be heartened by General Motors announcement of two bi-fuel pickup trucks scheduled to reach the market later this year.

According to GM*, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD will hit showroom floors in late 2012, but dealers have already begun taking orders from consumers buying cars.

Both of the vehicles are capable of running on compressed natural gas, as the Vortec 6.0 liter V8 engines allow them to transition from CNG to gasoline.

“The bi-fuel Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra provide customers with choices in advanced propulsion technology, and because CNG is a clean-burning, domestically produced fuel, it has wide appeal,” said Ed Peper, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations general manager.

In the runup to the budget, various motoring groups had campaigned for a further duty cut arguing that record high petrol prices were having a disastrous effect on individual household budgets and the economy as a whole.

Since March 2010, the price of petrol has risen 23.24p a litre or almost 20%. For
